What is your biggest fear?
Have you ever sat down and thought about your deepest fears? If you are anything like me or most millennials you have probably done this an unhealthy number of times. It scares you in the middle of the day and scares you in the middle of the night too. You wish you could oversee all these things but for some reason, you keep feeding your brain reasons why things should not work out instead of why they should. You keep fixating on the problems rather than trying to come up with a solution for them because sometimes it is easy to comfort yourself with misery.
‘Your biggest fear is not that you are inadequate but that you are powerful beyond measure'
Sometimes it is hard to believe in these words ‘Powerful Beyond measure’, not because I can’t believe it but because this sentence comes with a certain responsibility. This statement tells us that we control our attitudes in life and how we react to everything which is really scary because we cannot control everything that happens to us and keeping a straight face or a thick skin takes a toll on you after some time. There are those that say giving without expectation is the most selfless act but don’t we all want just a little bit of the things reciprocated especially when we feel low and down. Maybe that is our biggest fear. We fear that things might actually work but in order for them to happen we may have to transform ourselves into a different version and even though we realise that it is beneficial for us, it most certainly is not easy and will bring us to the edge of our emotional and mental well-being. Maybe we are so afraid of manifesting everything that we could be because we are not ready to unconsciously pour in all that effort. It's hard and most days it may end with you having to cry yourself to sleep or letting go of the things that you wanted to hold so close to you but the day we let go of this fear of failure, the fear of change, the fear of judgement is the day that we shall become powerful beyond measure.
